I loved the Snell gallery of decorative arts. What a hidden treasure!
Awesome little museum! I didn't expect much. Was certainly surprised. I sure hope the flooding from hurricane Harvey doesn't do any damage. This is a jewel in the rough.
Come on out and see there display of not only Ms. Janis Joplin , but music hall of famers right out of the great state of Texas. There are many other exhibits relating to the Gulf Coast but of the surrounding area ! It's free to get in and if you would so like to give a donation, please feel free to do so. The museum funds itself on private donations

Loved this place! I visited two days in a row! Took a thousand pictures and learned a ton! Especially enjoyed the shell collection.
Excellent experience with lots of local flavour. Charlie at reception is an institution and the speakeasy bar is rather special
