DallasISD Skyline HS for life
Currently a student. I have to say the staff (registrar and attendance) is complete rubbish. Besides that, the student success is left to their own merit. In other words you'll have to go out and get it yourself, like any other school.
School district is a joke my kids who were honor roll students were failing when they went to another district. PAISD as a whole is totally out of the game when you see how other districts hustle hard. No way to possibly compare.

This school needs a completely new staff, most teachers don't Eve teach they give us packets and expect us to know what to do. Worst school I've been to.
Man I don't know what I must've been on when I first wrote that review. I must've been trying to sound nice but honestly the staff is complete trash, except for one lady in the registrar. As soon as you walk in you're "greeted" by the worst person they have. If you want just a paycheck try applying for a memorial staff position. You do nothing and get paid. Shoutout to all the students tho, hope for the best for y'all.
Some of the teachers here are really trying to do something for all the students that really don't have a bright future ahead of them, but the administrative staff is completely in it for a pay check. They could care less if the students are learning they just want to pass as many as possible to look good. They also focus more on sports, football specifically, than actual academics. The majority of students are also not interested in applying themselves in class, and often have fights or skip class. This school could be decent if only the administrative staff cared a little more.
