This is the worst visit to Cheddar's I've ever had. Service is horrible, took forever to even take drink orders, no silverware, no napkins. Had to wait 10 minutes for utinsils after our food was brought out. My medium-well steak is so over cooked and dry it is not worth eating. Now waiting for another steak while my family is almost done with their meals. I usually have a wonderful experience, but after this I don't think I'll be back.
This used to be my favorite restaurant. Not sure what's happened to this location. But in the past four visits I have had nothing but issues. Two times they simply forgot to place my order all together, then the two most recent visits, back to back, a German roach ran across our table. Absolutely disgusting. The first time it happened the manager simply made a disgusted face, made an attempt at apologizing then went to walk away leaving the roach on a napkin on our table. We had to ask her to remove it from our table. Then today it happened again roach ran up the side of my sister's plate and I killed it , the only reason we were refunded our meal was because there was a big hair in our mashed potatoes, yet we were still charged for our side order of corn and drinks. Really has gone down hill. I can't say I'll be returning to the Port Arthur location.
I haven't been to a Cheddar's in months, but after we were greeted by our server, three other servers came by just to make sure we had been checked on. Next time I go, I'm asking for Travis or Jordan to wait on me. They really make you feel welcomed over there.

Yummy!!! Food is always so good, so wait times are longer. Food is very affordable and great atmosphere. Employees are usually nice and if there is ever a problem the manager will make sure you are helped. My husband loves their Pain Killer drink and my kids love the Queso. I enjoy it all, especially the red beans and rice! Good place to go.
I've had some good and bad experiences here. Tonight was definitely a good one. Place was packed after the hurricane but it only took 15 minutes to be seated. I had the Key West Chicken and Shrimp (delicious) and the wife had fried shrimp (delicious). Spinach dip appetizer. Service was adequate.
